The primary mission of Securus Technologies® has always been to facilitate the connection between incarcerated individuals and their loved ones. Now, we want to focus on these relationships with our new campaign, Securus Connects.
The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois announces the launch of a program to help incarcerated individuals become successful now and in the future. Securus Technologies is providing the SecureView® Tablet at no cost to taxpayers or inmates. The Sheriff’s Office commissary program is funding this technology which features applications such as the phone, education, mental health, law library and job search.
Tablet technology helps educate incarcerated individuals on a massive scale. JPay’s Lantern is the largest digital education program in corrections through a partnership with Ashland University. Former inmate, Ronnie Hopkins, credits education and his faith for changing from a life of crime to a life of productivity and community outreach.
Securus Technologies® recently launched NextGen Secure Communications PlatformTM (NextGen SCPTM), the new single portal for managing, researching, monitoring and investigating information produced in a correctional facility.

Securus Video Connects® system is a fully web-based visual communication system that allows friends, family members, attorneys, and public officials to schedule and participate in video sessions with an incarcerated individual – from anywhere with internet access using the free Securus app, computer or tablet.
