Video calls are initiated by the incarcerated and paid for by family and friends through AdvanceConnect accounts – just like Securus phone calls are – so to be ready for video calling, please set up and fund your account today.
Please download the Securus Mobile app. Then, create or sign in to your account. When prompted, tap Allow notifications so you will get alerts when your loved one calls.
Next, set up and add funds to your AdvanceConnect account.
Then add your loved one as a contact by tapping Launch in the AdvanceConnect section and clicking Video Connect Contacts. Follow the search prompts and when you locate your loved one, tap Add Contact.
Note: Some facilities may ask you to upload identification before you can receive video calls. If required, you’ll see that message during your registration. Just tap “Add Now” and follow the simple steps.
Once you submit your information, the correctional facility will review it, and you will get an email letting you know your Video Connect approval status.
