Securus Wins Twice in the International Business Awards

Securus' Richard A. ("Rick") Smith, CEO and Chairman, and Training Department honored with Silver Stevie® Awards for Executive of the Year and Best Customer Service Team in 2017 at the International Business Awards

DALLAS, TX August 15, 2017/Business Wire/-- Securus Technologies, a leading provider of civil and criminal justice technology solutions for public safety, investigation, corrections and monitoring announced today that its CEO and Chairman Rick Smith has won a Silver Stevie® Award in the Executive of the Year category and the Training Team in the Customer Service Team category at the 14th Annual International Business Awards today.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. The 2017 IBAs received 3,900 entries from more than 60 nations and territories.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain on October 21, 2017.

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated on 12 juries.
