The Lee County Sheriff's Office in Dixon, Illinois has chosen Securus Technologies, Inc. as their Inmate Phone Provider

The contract will provide service on average to fifty-five (55) inmates. Securus Technologies is a leading provider of inmate communication services and innovative offender and case management software design. The 3 year contract is valued at $201,000.
Assistant Warden Doug Carlson reports that Securus was chosen because, "We needed to find a phone company that was financially secure and reliable. The new system will save the county staff time and money; and they offered a better commission structure and service level."

The advanced Secure Call Platform call management system is set to go live on August 14, 2009.
