Tangipahoa Parish Installs New Inmate Calling System

Securus Technologies, Inc. a leading provider of inmate communication services and innovative offender and case management software design, today announced it signed an agreement to install, operate, and maintain a sophisticated inmate telephone network in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.
Tangipahoa Jail houses on average 585 inmates. Tangipahoa chose Securus Technologies based upon the superior features of their calling platform, the remote capabilities of the user interface, the capability to provide visitation phone monitoring and recording and the functionality of the lobby kiosk that provides visitors the ability to pay for telephone and trust account funding while reducing facility staff time and labor.
Brennan Kelsey, an independent service specialist hired Tangipahoa to manage and provide oversight of their inmate telephone contracts stated, “I did the market research and wanted a company who provided quality inmate telephone service with an outstanding telephone system that conformed to the ever changing needs of correctional facilities”
